Swimming

Santa and Mrs. Claus always like to go swimming when they stay at
a resort because its very difficult to go swimming at the North Pole.
This summer was no exception, of course. So during their stay at their
chosen resort in Whistler there were the usual whispers of children to
their parents "Doesn't he look like Santa" and "Mom, he really looks
like Father Christmas, doesn't he?" During Santa's last visit to Whistler
there was a young lady from Korea who spoke no English but who thought
that Santa "looked like Santa" and wanted to have her picture taken with
him. A pleasant respite for both Santa and the young lady - and what better
way to keep track of who's been "naughty or nice"? This time we had a
young lady from near London who thought Santa looked a lot like "Father
Christmas". And then there was the wonderful young couple, newlyweds,
who met on the Internet, fell in love and got married, and were on their
honeymoon. Swimming pools are wonderful places.

A young lady from England hangs on to Dad while Mom and
Grandma and Grandpa look on. She said to mom "He looks a
lot like Father Christmas, don't you think?"

Why yes, this is sure better!

A very nice young couple visiting from Minnesota, had time to
chat with Santa and Mrs. Claus while on their honeymoon

Honeymoon over, sadly time to go home

Santa swimming, Mrs. Claus thinking and the ski trails on
Blackcomb Mountain beckon in the background as the hot
tub beckons in the foreground.

Mrs. Claus settles in to read a good book first....

Then she takes a turn at swimming, too - something we have to
travel for 'cause swimming is pretty "hard" at the North Pole!
