But not all visits go "just as planned" -- "sit on Santa's lap, tell him what you want most for Christmas, etc". Sometimes some of the kids get a little shy, sometimes some of the grown ups get a little shy, sometimes we have innovation in the visit, and sometimes Santa has to learn on the spur of the moment to be a little flexible.
