This is the Nairn Falls Campground Map. This campground is just
a couple of kilometers outside Pemberton on Highway 99. This map shows
the entire lower mainland-Fraser Valley as far north as Williams Lake
and in detail the area Mrs. Claus and Santa visited on this trip, except
the region covered in the upper left corner of Pemberton by the rock
climbing picture insert. This includes the upper Lillooet River, the
backroad over the Hurley to Gold Bridge and Bralorne, the Upper Lillooet
Campground and the Meager Creek and Keyhole Falls Hot Springs. This is
an area of especial scenic beauty with at least a half-dozen waterfalls
of singular beauty, and it is about a 35 kilometer drive to the
campground and 50 kilometers total one way to Keyhole Falls. Nairn Falls
itself is the home of the only boa constrictor living in Canada - an
18-inch long snake more resembling of a large earthworm.

We met this nice young couple at the Cal Cheaks campground.
|

They invited us to stop and visit a spell. River in background.

This is the site map for the Upper Lillooet Recreation Site camp ground.
Its right on the Lillooet River and is clean and neat.
|

This is one of the outhouses. They are clean and well kept.

This is a large triple site overlooking the river.

Mr. Claus and Santa, a picnic table and a firepit in the campsite.
|

A pretty little waterfall - over this hill comes a surprise.
|

It's actually two....or is it?
|

There's two waterfalls but off to the left is a "vertical"
stream looking much like a third waterfall right here.
|

We could easily have missed this due to its hidden nature.
|

One of the first ones we saw heading out to Keyhole Falls.

Keyhole Falls, looking up-river.
|

Mrs. Claus and Santa on the bridge....
|

You can see the water dropping down into the "keyhole" here.
It would be magnificent to view this from the other side, but likely
also very impossible.

This is Van Horlick Creek at the west end of Duffy Lake.
